More holiday fun this week with I Spy Halloween coloring pages! There are two versions of this page. The first was perfect for my preschooler to do, with some directions. She loved counting the "spooky" pictures. The pictures on this version are placed in numerical order through 10 for number recognition and counting skills. My daughter occasionally missed a picture, and it was great practice for her to go back and count each picture again. The second Halloween I Spy coloring page is perfect for older kids. The number of each picture is random, and lots of little pictures are crammed into the box. Sometimes with pages like this, I laminate them, grab some dry erase markers and take them places like church or a doctor's office or anywhere my kids might need something quiet to do. If you don't have a laminator, sheet protectors, like the kind you buy for 3-ring binders, work great too. Then the pages can be easily erased and done over and over again. I had so much fun creating this week's coloring page. I always loved color-by-number pages as a kid. Designing and painting this one took me back! Print this coloring page for your kids and yourself, and then break out some fun watercolors. It's so relaxing! If you love the holidays as much as I do, make sure you stay tuned in October for some fun Halloween pages! Click image to download for FREE! *This printable coloring page is for personal use only. Keep little hands busy with this simple Bug Word Search. Then head outside together and see what you can find! We are trying to soak up all the sunshine we can before the cold weather hits. My preschooler begs for a walk most evenings and often gets her way. It takes a while to make it a block or two because she stops to pick up every rock, leaf, or stick that catches her eye. She was kind enough to insist I use her current leaf and stick collection while I took her photo. All of my kids filled their pockets with rocks and sticks at this age, but she takes things to a whole new level! Bugs, however, she's a little less fond of, unless they're on paper! P.S. Try giving your kids a highlighter to do pages like this. I don't know what it is, but worksheets and activity pages become much more exciting to my littles when they have a highlighter in hand!
